Leighton Hall Partners Desk. A beautiful reproduction of an 1800's partners desk. Starting with the top the leather inlay is embossed with very fine gold decoration. This finely treated leather should last many decades with no cracking or serious wear under normal use. Swirly crotched mahogany on both the sides and drawers. The serpentine carvings on the corners gives this piece an extra touch of elegance. Raised cock beading on the drawers, and a heavier raised decorative beading on the large panels around the desk. Until Recently this incredible interpretation of God's most beautiful creation hung over the bed of a very prominent executive and art lover. We are so fortunate the have this fabulous relief sculpture by Bill Mack in our Gallery. For those who have followed the American Contemporary Art Movement over the last 20 years or so, Bill Mack needs no introduction. For those unfamiliar with his work, Bill Mack sculpts in what is referred to as “alto-relief,” which is a variation of bas-relief but incorporates even much greater depth and three dimensionality with portions of sculptures rendered in the “full round,” similar to classic Greek and Roman sculpture and statuary. Isn't she spectacular? Bill is known all around the world, his pieces are in the collections of US execs like Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, and Bill Clinton, famous actors like Sylvester Stallone and Elizabeth Taylor, as well as many corporate titans and heads of industry. Specific pieces of his have been enshrined permanently in American landmarks such as his sculpture now part of the permanent collection of the Statute of Liberty National Monument on Liberty Island. He has several other pieces at various important pro sports related venues, such as his Peggy Fleming statue at the United States Figure Skating Hall of Fame, and his Lyle Alzado statue at the NFL Hall of Fame. The current piece we are offering for sale is titled “Tranquility.” It is an early work from 1994 and without a doubt, is one of his finest pieces ever. It features thick, squared, and tapered posts, topped by round finials, beautiful solid pine, and a wide molding across the top of the headboard. It comes with the wood side rails. I can take home anything I want from my stores and I have several pieces of Leighton Hall. This is a $7,000 retail credenza. This is one of our pieces of inventory of floor samples. We carry floor samples and overproduction of most of America's finest furniture craftsman. This credenza is not a second and there is no visible damage.
This is a spectacular piece of high quality furniture craftsmanship by Leighton Hall. This very fine mahogany Hepplewhite style sideboard is as perfect as quality reproductions come. Serpentine front, finished inside and out, solid brass hardware, flaming crotched mahogany, brass key findings locks and keys. The top has a flat field of crotched mahogany, then string inlay, then tulip wood, then string inlay, then an accenting, burnished, border of prima vera wood. It measures 24D x68W x 39H.

Leighton Hall table for my own home and I can take home anything. I personally
know the craftsman that makes this fine heirloom future. They only make 30 to
50 tables per month not hundreds or thousands. These tables are for
appreciators of fine handcrafted furniture that want top quality in their home
or conference room! The president of the company hand picks these woods in
North Carolina. The presidents of the company and me have been friends for
years. He is allowing me to purchase his floor samples at a fraction of what

 Antique Japanese Satsuma Earthenware Tea Set has 20 pieces in all. This set features very intricately and beautifully hand painted scenes of Japanese women, with a golden dragon on top of each large piece. All pieces have the Satsuma pottery mark. The tea pot measures 9" H. There is a crack on the spout. It looks like it was repaired. The sugar measures 8" H, and the creamer measures 7" H. There are 6 cups and saucers, with some wear on the saucers. One cup has a small chip on the rim. There is crazing because of age. The salt and pepper measure 2 3/4" H.
